2008 SURVEY FAQs

Which companies fulfill the criteria to participate in the research "Leading Companies Greece 2008"?

The companies included in the list were selected according to the following criteria:

- Companies listed in the Athens Stock Exchange with Market Capitalization over €75mil (September 30, 2008)
- Non-listed companies with Sales Turnover over €75mil (31.12.2007 financial statements)
- Greek affiliates of companies listed in the Fortune "World's Most Admired Companies"

Which criteria will reveal the leading companies?

The questionnaire of the survey is structured so that it can identify the companies that enjoy the strongest reputation within the business community for their:

- Financial soundness
- Long-term investment
- International growth
- Quality of products/services
- Management of human capital
- Corporate social responsibility
- Innovation

Who will evaluate the leading companies?

The CEO, Managing Director and General Manager of each one of the companies listed.

How does this evaluation take place?

The questionnaire of the survey will be sent by e-mail to all companies that fulfill the above mentioned criteria.

The questionnaire of the survey will reveal the leading company per criterion, and the leading company overall.

The evaluators cannot select their own company!

Confidentiality

All data will be treated with confidentiality and will be stored in the international databases of Hay Group.

Announcement of the results

A special event will be organized in June 2009. Senior executives of the Greek business community and all evaluators will be invited. Distinguished speakers will present and analyze the results of the research.
