Our History

1980 - The Athens Office was established
The Athens office was established as a Limited Liability Company providing Human Resource consultancy services and Executive Selection. In 1989 the two services were divided into two companies, that re-merged again in 1997 as a corporation that continuous to operate today. For the last 26 years we have been providing high quality consulting services to over 300 companies and organizations that have led to us to the top of the Greek market.

1997 - Expanding in the Balkan region
During 1997 we made our first attempt at producing a local market survey and establish our presence in Bulgaria. After this successful launch we have managed to identify opportunities on an annual basis and work with a number of leading companies.

2002 - Identifying opportunities in the SEE region
We followed the growth of Greek organizations in the extended SEE region and identified opportunities in Israel and Romania. In both these countries Hay Group established offices after a relatively short period of time.

2006 - Leading the SEE region
The Athenian office becomes part of the SEE region, with the main responsibility of establishing our presence in countries such as Cyprus, Serbia, and Croatia and helping others such as Romania and Bulgaria reach their potential.

Today - On the leading edge
Today we are an office of 55 employees. We are still seeking opportunities to further develop our endeavors in new and promising markets, building relationships with key clients in countries such as Armenia, Egypt, Jordan, FYROM, Albania and Serbia / Monte Negro.
